Why should I subscribe to Airline Weekly?
By combining our own extensive industry experience with rigorous financial and quantitative analysis along with access to top executives at nearly every major travel company, we create comprehensive newsletters that drill deeply into aviation trends that shape the future of travel. We use tools such as financial and economic analysis and proprietary survey data to support our qualitative observations and forecasts for the industry. We are intellectually honest and transparent with our assumptions.
Our subscribers come from within the travel ecosystem and include executives, marketers, strategists, technologists, and sales professionals from online distributors, hospitality companies, airlines, cruises, destination marketing organizations, tours, and activities companies, technology providers, and others. We also have many investors (both public and private equity/venture capital) and investment banks/equity research providers subscribing to our research.
Who conducts your research and who writes your newsletters?
Airline Weekly is a subscriber-supported publication, paid for by readers who want a more interesting, more valuable read about the airline business. Each Monday, Airline Weekly newsletters includes; who’s flying where, new marketing approaches, fleet, finance, and key airline and airport data. And most importantly, Airline Weekly readers enjoy insightful analysis and new ideas found nowhere else. We are actively adding to our research and editorial team with a focus on building a cohesive unit rather than using the siloed approach many firms often utilize. Our newsletters are researched and written by Jay Shabat.
How often do Airline Weekly newsletters get published?
We publish 1 new Airline Weekly newsletter each Monday. This includes 48 issues.

Why do we use emails as usernames?
We notify all subscribers of product and newsletter launches via email. Additionally, we do not allow role-based emails as usernames for individual subscriptions. The individual subscription is a one-user license and we do not allow sharing of the login information or newsletters. To provide a better experience and to enforce our sharing policy we track the activity of newsletter distribution.
Can I share my newsletter with my colleagues and professional network?
No, each single subscription is intended for single use, and we monitor the sharing of newsletters to enforce our copyright licenses. If you’re interested in having your team stay up-to-date on the latest aviation data we also offer multi-user licenses for your immediate team or company-wide unlimited access. How can I share what I’ve learned from newsletters?
Airline Weekly does not allow sharing or distribution of newsletters. Feel free to share certain snippets or lines of our newsletters within your company and with outside associates. However, when you do so, we ask that you cite Airline Weekly and add our logo on any document pages published. A simple citation will do: “According to Airline Weekly…”
Purchase and Billing
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
No. While we can cancel or transfer the annual subscription, we do not offer refunds.
Will I have access to all previous Airline Weekly Newsletters?
Currently, currently we do not allow for access to previous Airline Weekly newsletters. You will, however, receive 48 copies of Airline Weekly from the date your subscription is activated.
What happens when my annual subscription expires?
Our platform, Wallkit, auto-renews all subscriptions after one year. If the billing information is up-to-date, you are charged the annual fee and your subscription will continue. If you wish to change your billing information, you can do so under “Payment Methods” in your account.
If you do not wish to renew your subscription, you MUST contact email@example.com 30 days before your renewal date with your termination request.
As an Airline Weekly Subscriber…
Cancellation of Annual subscriptions
You may provide written/email notice to cancel your subscription at any time. Skift will discontinue future charges associated with your subscription upon receiving this notice. You will have access to all content until the expiration of the current subscription.
If you cancel an annual subscription within the first 60 days of your subscription year, Skift will refund 10% of your total payment. The cancellation will be effective the following billing cycle from the date of your written intent to cancel. You will continue to have the same access and benefits for all newsletters published before the effective cancellation date.
We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
Changes to Content or Access
We reserve the right to make changes to our digital products at any time. If we temporarily reduce or eliminate the charge for content or access that you are currently paying for under different terms, you will not receive a refund.
If any or all of our digital products are temporarily unavailable, you will not receive a refund. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
Terms of Service
A Single-Use License subscriber may access as many newsletters as they are issued as long as they are used for their personal use. Distribution of login/password and copies to audiences inside or outside the company or organization are not permitted.
Subscribers may not post or otherwise mass distribute Airline Weekly Newsletters (e.g. via hard copy, email, and/or posting on the internet, company bulletin boards or other information storage and retrieval systems).
Identical to Single-Use Licenses but applicable to more than one subscriber in a company or organization as defined by an agreement with Skift to pay for multiple users in a company. Distribution of login/password and copies to audiences beyond those who are covered with the multi-use license are not permitted. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A prepaid licensing program defined by an agreement with Skift that provides an entire company or organization access to the Airline Weekly newsletter for 12 months. Distribution of login/password and copies to audiences beyond those who are covered with enterprise license are not permitted. For more information, contact us at email@example.com.
Subscribers acknowledge that the contents of the Airline Weekly Newsletter are copyrighted by Skift and that neither Subscribers nor their employers where applicable hereby obtain rights whatsoever in the same. Except as described above, Subscribers shall not directly or indirectly reproduce, download or otherwise distribute (in print, electronic, or intranet format) material appearing on the site without prior written permission from Skift.
